YANGON – BAGAN – INLE LAKE
Day 1 : Yangon – Bagan
After breakfast at hotel, we visit over 2000-years old Sule pagoda and enjoy photographing for a panoramic view of city. Proceed to Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument ~ have a memorable scene of colonial building ,historical Botahtaung pagoda you will see the Yangon River view,then enjoy lunch at Restaurant. Afternoon,visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market for shopping and then we proceed to the biggest Chaukhtetgyi reclining Buddha statue-72 meters long huge colossal image.In the evening we go to the Kandawgyi Lake for photo taking and sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, over 2500-years-old gigantic golden stupa in Yangon. It is the holiest place of the Buddhist people and land mark of the country then transfer to high way Bus station to Bagan.Overnight on the bus.
Day 2 : Bagan
Early morning, Arrive Bagan Bus station where your guide will meet and welcome you. Early check in and free time for relaxation. Excursion by car start with Shwezigone Pagoda- built in 1087 by King Anawratha who is the founder of the first Myanmar Empire.Nat ( Sprits ) images can be found within its precincts.Then observe the most venerated Ananda temple, built in 1090. It is the masterpiece of the early style temple architecture of Bagan error. Next must stop see is 66 meters high Thatbyitnnyu temple built in the middle of the 12th century as the highest pagoda on Bagan Plain. Then study 12th century mural painting inside the Gubyaukgyi temple, built in 1113 by princess Rajakumar. After that, visit a local family workshop to watch about the production process of lacquer ware, one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Evening highlights are Manuhar pagoda – built by king Manuhar, probably to portray his life as a POW ( Prisoner Of War ); unfinished Dhamagyi temple – Bagan’s most massive temple built in 1167 AD. Finally, breathtaking sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda – most popular sunset-viewing spots in Bagan.Overnight stay at hotel in Bagan.
Day 3 : Bagan – NaungShwe
Highlight for today: Lawkhananda Pagoda – look over Ayeyarwaddy river from acliff top; Bu Paya-pagoda with bulbous dome resembling the ‘ Bu’ or gourd; DhamaYazakaZedi – located in Pwasaw village & built in 1196 AD; Nagayon pagoda – a very elegant form with a standing stucco image of Buddha under the hood of a huge naga ( serpent ); Kyansit-thaUmin- where you can see murals painting from the 13th century; Ananda Okkyaung-a brick monastery with 18th century mural paintings; NathlaungKyaung – the only remaining Hindu temple in Bagan; Than day Kyar – Buddha Image built with solid sand stones in 13th century; Sulamani Temple – a red brick temple features delicate masonry work; LawkaTeikpan pagoda – quick small in size is of considerable importance owing to fine frescoes and ink inscriptions dated 12 century; Htilominlo Temple – known for its elaborate plaster moldings dated 1211 AD; Nan Paya – ne of the two sand stone temples in Bagan. Finally, breathtaking sunset from PyatThetGyi temple. Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. then transfer to high way Bus station to NaungShwe.Overnight on the bus.
Day 4 : Inle Lake
Early morning, Arrive NaungShwe Bus station where your guide will meet and welcome you. Early check in and free time for relaxation. After breakfast sightseeing by private boat. Sightseeing includes; a chance to see the leg-rowing fishermen. Continue to see the floating gardens, built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Explore in and around the lake by small boat. Learn the life of fishermen, and floating gardens on which fruits, flowers, and vegetables are grown. Visit Nampan market or Ywama floating market or another one (depend on five days’ movement) to watch the colorful minorities of Shan State. Phaungdawoo Pagoda is right in the center of the lake and famous for it’s five shapeless Buddha Images heavily gilded with gold. Then continue to floating village to learn the daily life of Intha people. Visit Silversmith, hand loom weaving in Einpawkone village, and boat making. Ngahpechaung Monastery is one of the famous for its’ well trained jumping cats. Overnight in NaungShwe.
Day 5: Indein – Yangon
Today we return to Yangon but before we return to Yangon after breakfast, we visit In Dein Village in the south of the lake by private boat. In the evening after dinner transfer to high way Bus station to Yangon.Overnight on the bus.
Day 6 : Yangon Shopping & Relaxation
Early morning, Arrive Yangon Bus station where your guide will meet and welcome you. Early check in and free time for relaxation. After breakfast you should go shopping for your beloved ones or for yourself at Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market where you can find Myanmar famous gems and jewellary sales centers, Myanmar traditional products such as antiques, wood and jade carvings, cotton and silk fabrics, lacquerware, paintings, silverware, tapestries, slippers, Longyis, souvenir and so on. .Overnight in Yangon.
Day 7: Yangon Departure
Today is the last day in Myanmar. After breakfast, transfer to airport for departure flight.
