Day 1 : Yangon Arrival ( Sightseeing )

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport welcome by our local guide and transfer to your Hotel. Sightseeing starts with Yangon Colonial Style city center and enjoy photographing for a panoramic view of city. Proceed to Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument ~ have a memorable scene of colonial building then enjoy lunch at Restaurant. After lunch, we proceed to the biggest Chaukhtetgyi reclining Buddha statue-72 meters long huge colossal image. In the evening we go to the Kandawgyi Lake for photo taking and then sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, over 2600-years-old gigantic golden stupa in Yangon. It is the holiest place of the Buddhist people and land mark of the country. Enjoy sunset at Pagoda. Drive back to hotel and free time at your leisure. Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. Overnight hotel in Yangon.

Day 2 : Yangon –Myaing Hay Wun Elephants Camp –Yangon

After breakfast, drive north of Yangon to a small town called Hpalon on the main road to Pyay, some 96 km away from Yangon for around 2hours drive. The road passes through Hlawgar forest reserves, Htaukkyat WWII memorial graves, some important towns like Hmawbi and Teikkyi and endless rice fields. Then turns towards east at Hpalon and take an unpaved logging road for around 20km to reach Myaing Hay Wun elephant camp. Have your lunch and take a brief rest at the camp. After that, there are activities for everyone: one can experience the elephant riding along the jungle trails to Paung Lin, exploration of elephant camp and study how Oozi (Mahaut) train and nature the elephants, or take a jungle trek to study the plants and spot the wildlife. In evening return back to Yangon. Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.

Day 3 : Yangon Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to International flight for departure.

Plan 1: Day trip from Taungoo to Bago Yoma jungle and visit elephant camp

Detail schedule:

Get up early in morning and leave Taungoo around 6:00 am drive to elephant camp (3 hr) and learn how elephants are working for the logging process (at real elephant working sites). Have lunch in the jungle and come back to Taungoo in the afternoon (arrive around 4 or 5 pm).
