Brief Itinerary
Day 2: Fly to Mandalay then visit Ava , Sagaing and Amurapura – O/N in Mandalay
Day 3: Visit Mingun and around Mandalay – O/N in Mandalay
Day 4: From Mandalay to Bagan by boat – O/N in Bagan
Day 5: Bagan full day sightseeing – O/N in Bagan
Day 6: Visit to Mt Popa, fly to Heho after that overland drive to Kalaw – O/N in Kalaw
Day 7: Overland drive to Inlay with visit Pindaya – O/N in Inlay
Day 8: Inlay Lake full day sightseeing – O/N in Inlay
Day 9: Indein sightseeing then fly Back to Yangon – O/N in Yangon

Day 1 : Yangon ( Sightseeing )
Arrive at Yangon International Airport, pick up by our company representative. After check in hotel go for sightseeing to the downtown area then, we visit over 2000-years old Sule pagoda and enjoy photographing for a panoramic view of city. Proceed to Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument ~ have a memorable scene of colonial building ,enjoy lunch at Local Restaurant. After lunch, visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market for shopping and then we proceed to the biggest Chaukhtetgyi reclining Buddha statue-72 meters long huge colossal image. In the evening we go to the Kandawgyi Lake for photo taking and then sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, over 2500-years-old gigantic golden stupa in Yangon. It is the holiest place of the Buddhist people and land mark of the country then transfer back to hotel. ( Overnight hotel in Yangon. )
Day 2 : Yangon – Mandalay – Amurapura – Sagaing – Inwa (Ava) (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Yangon Airport for domestic flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival drive to Amurapura .Visit Mahamuni Buddha Image then process to Mahagandayon Monastery, a famous Buddhist monastery where more than a thousand monks live and study Buddhist literature. Then, proceed sightseeing to the former royal capital of Inwa (Ava), reached by a short boat trip. Visits by horse-drawn carriage include Nanmyint Watch Tower, the remains of a palace building nicknamed “leaning tower of Ava”, Mahaaungmye Bonzan Monastery (built of bricks and stucco) and Bargayar Monastery, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts. We will have our lunch near Innwa at Local restaurant. After Lunch drive to Sagaing Hills over Ava Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Sagaing, once an ancient capital, lies 21 km south west of Mandalay, besides the Ayeyarwaddy River. Sagaing Hills are dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries and meditation centers, a retreat for 6000 monks and nuns. Visit U Min Thonese Pagoda and sunset at Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda a traditional silk weaving workshop and Kalaga Tapestry workshop. Enjoy the beautiful sunset at 1.2 km-long U Bein Wooden Bridge built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the royal capital. Then transfer to hotel. Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. Day 3 : River Cruise Mingun – Mandalay (B)
After breakfast, boat excursion (one hour each way) up the Ayeyarwaddy river to Mingun,boat trip is a very pleasant way to see the life a long the river. Tour highlights include: the world’s largest intact bronze bell, 3.7 meters high and weighting 90 tons – the largest uncracked ringing bell in the world. Also visit the huge but unfinished Mingun paya (built with the intention of being the world’s biggest pagoda) and the beautiful Hsinbyume paya, Settawya Pagoda, Myatheindan Pagoda with seven concentric terraces at the base. Then return to Mandalay. After lunch, sightseeing Mandalay to visit Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung ( Golden Palace Monastery), a superb example of a traditional wooden building, and Kuthodaw Pagoda (known as the world’s largest book), consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Sunset at Mandalay Hill , a vantage point for panoramic view of the city . Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. ( Overnight hotel in Mandalay. )
Day 4 : Mandalay – Bagan (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Jetty around 6 0′ clock in the morning. Arrive to Bagan in the evening around 4 0’ clock. Upon arrival at Bagan in the evening, transfer to Hotel. Dinner at decent restaurant. ( Overnight hotel in Bagan. )

Day 5 : Bagan full day sightseeing (B)
In the morning after breakfast we start visit with Shwezigone Pagoda- built in 1087 by King Anawratha who is the founder of the first Myanmar Empire.Nat ( Sprits ) images can be found within its precincts. Then observe the most venerated Ananda temple, built in 1090. It is the masterpiece of the early style temple architecture of Bagan error. Next must stop see is 66 meters high Thatbyitnnyu temple built in the middle of the 12th century as the highest pagoda on Bagan Plain. Then study 12th century mural painting inside the Gubyaukgyi temple, built in 1113 by prince Rajakumar. After that, visit a local family workshop to watch about the production process of lacquer ware, one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Evening highlights are Manuhar pagoda – built by king Manuhar, probably to portray his life as a Pow ( Prisoner Of War ); unfinished Dhamagyi temple – Bagan’s most massive temple built in 1167 AD. Finally, breathtaking sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda – most popular sunset-viewing spots in Bagan. ( Overnight hotel in Bagan. )
Day 6 : Excursion Mt.Popa & fly to Heho – Kalaw (B)
After breakfast, visit Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano and 60-km south-east of Bagan and 1500-meters high. Well known as the oasis of the central Myanmar dry zone and with a shrine dedicated to animist spirits known as “Nats”. For the energetic, time to climb 777 steps to a shrine at the top of the volcanic plug accompanied by a crowd of monkeys. This effort will be rewarded many times by the extraordinary panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Popa National Park with dense sandal wood forest and rare species of birds and butterflies, Local market are worth to see. Then transfer to the airport for flight to Heho, Upon arrival at Heho, transfer to Kalaw. ( Overnight hotel in Kalaw. )

Day 7 : Kalaw – Pindaya – Inlay (B)
In the morning drive to Pindaya cave in which thousand of Buddha Images are adorned at every corner of the niche. Again stop at Ngetpyawtaw village to learn the Local bamboo umbrella making and village, then to Yechansin village to study the Bamboo hat making. Then transfer to Naung Shwe hotel . ( Overnight hotel in Naung Shwe. )
Day 8 : Inle Lake (Sightseeing) (B)
In the morning breakfast at hotel. Morning walk to Nyaung Shwe Jetty. sightseeing by private boat. Sightseeing includes; a chance to see the leg-rowing fishermen. Continue to see the floating gardens, built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Explore in and around the lake by small boat. Learn the life of fishermen, and floating gardens on which fruits, flowers, and vegetables are grown. Visit Nampan market or Ywama floating market or another one (depend on five days’ movement) to watch the colorful minorities of Shan State. Phaungdawoo Pagoda is right in the center of the lake and famous for it’s five shapeless Buddha Images heavily gilded with gold. Then continue to floating village to learn the daily life of Intha people. Visit Silversmith, hand loom weaving in Einpawkone village, and boat making. Ngahpechaung Monastery is one of the famous for its’ well trained jumping cats. Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. ( Overnight in Naung Shwe. )

Day 9 : In Dein – Yangon (B)
Today we return to Yangon but before we return to Yangon after breakfast, we visit In Dein Village in the south of the lake by private boat. Afternoon drive to Heho. Arrive at Heho airport then fly back to Yangon. Upon arrival at Yangon in the evening transfer to Hotel. ( Overnight hotel in Yangon. )
Day 10 : Yangon Shopping & Departure (B)
Morning breakfast at hotel. Free and leisure at the hotel until departure for next destination.
