Details Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Yangon - Mandalay

Arrive in Yangon International airport, meet and welcome by your guide then transfer to restaurant for your dinner. After dinner transfer to high way Bus station to Mandalay. Bus leave from Yangon 7:00 Pm you will arrive to Mandalay around about 5:00 Am. (Air con VIP Bus)

Day 2 : River Cruise Mingun – Mandalay

Early morning, Arrive Mandalay Bus station where your guide will meet and welcome you. Early check in and free time for relaxation. After breakfast, boat excursion (one hour each way) up the Ayeyarwaddy river to Mingun,boat trip is a very pleasant way to see the life a long the river. Tour highlights include: the world’s largest intact bronze bell, 3.7 meters high and weighting 90 tons – the largest uncracked ringing bell in the world. Also visit the huge but unfinished Mingun paya (built with the intention of being the world’s biggest pagoda) and the beautiful Hsinbyume paya, Settawya Pagoda, Myatheindan Pagoda with seven concentric terraces at the base. Then return to Mandalay. After lunch, sightseeing Mandalay to visit Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung ( Golden Palace Monastery), a superb example of a traditional wooden building, and Kuthodaw Pagoda (known as the world’s largest book), consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Sunset at Mandalay Hill , a vantage point for panoramic view of the city . Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant.

Day 3 : Amurapura – Sagaing – Inwa (Ava)

Breakfast at hotel. Today we visit an ancient of Amurapura, visit Mahagandaryone Monastery a famous Buddhist monastery where more than a thousand monks live and study Buddhist literature, Mahamuni Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha himself, Tapestry works, Wood carving & bronze castling workshops, Marble carving workshop and silk weaving home cottage. After lunch,proceed sightseeing to the former royal capital of Inwa (Ava), reached by a short boat trip. Visits by horse-drawn carriage include Nanmyint Watch Tower, the remains of a palace building nicknamed "leaning tower of Ava", Mahaaungmye Bonzan Monastery (built of bricks and stucco) and Bargayar Monastery, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts. Then, drive to Sagaing Hill over AVA Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Sagaing Hill are dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries and meditation centers, a retreat for 6000 monks and nuns. Visit Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, U Min Thonse Pagoda.And then drive back to Mandalay on the way back to Mandalay enjoy the beautiful sunset at 1.2 km-long U Bein Wooden Bridge built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the royal capital. After dinner transfer to train station to go Bagan.Train leave from Mandalay 8:00 Pm you will arrive to Bagan around about 5:00 Am .(sleeper class)

Day 4 : Bagan full day sightseeing

When you arrive Bagan train station where your guide will meet and welcome you then transfer to Hotel . relax in the hotel a few hour . after breakfast we start visit with Shwezigone Pagoda- built in 1087 by King Anawratha who is the founder of the first Myanmar Empire.Nat ( Sprits ) images can be found within its precincts. Then observe the most venerated Ananda temple, built in 1090. It is the masterpiece of the early style temple architecture of Bagan error. Next must stop see is 66 meters high Thatbyitnnyu temple built in the middle of the 12th century as the highest pagoda on Bagan Plain. Then study 12th century mural painting inside the Gubyaukgyi temple, built in 1113 by prince Rajakumar. After that, visit a local family workshop to watch about the production process of lacquer ware, one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Evening highlights are Manuhar pagoda – built by king Manuhar, probably to portray his life as a Pow ( Prisoner Of War ); unfinished Dhamagyi temple – Bagan’s most massive temple built in 1167 AD. Finally, breathtaking sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda – most popular sunset-viewing spots in Bagan. Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. ( Overnight hotel in Bagan. )

Day 5 : Bagan full day sightseeing & fly back to Yangon

Highlight for today: Lawkhananda Pagoda – look over Ayeyarwaddy river from Bu Paya-pagoda with bulbous dome resembling the ‘ Bu’ or gourd; Dhama Yazaka Zedi – located in Pwasaw village & built in 1196 AD; Nagayon pagoda – a very elegant form with a standing stucco image of Buddha under the hood of a huge naga ( serpent ); Kyansit-tha Umin- where you can see murals painting from the 13th century; Ananda Okkyaung-a brick monastery with 18th century mural paintings; Nathlaung Kyaung – the only remaining Hindu temple in Bagan; Than day Kyar – Buddha Image built with solid sand stones in 13th century; Sulamani Temple – a red brick temple features delicate masonry work; Lawka Teikpan pagoda – quick small in size is of considerable importance owing to fine frescoes and ink inscriptions dated 12 century; Htilominlo Temple – known for its elaborate plaster moldings dated 1211 AD; Nan Paya – , a unique sandstone monument that is such to have been the palace of King Manuha. Finally, In the evening transfer to Bagan Airport for return Yangon. Upon arrival at Yangon transfer to hotel . ( Overnight hotel in Yangon . )

Day 6 : Yangon ( Sightseeing ) & Departure

In the hotel after breakfast in the hotel go for sightseeing to the downtown area then, we start visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, over 2500-years-old gigantic golden stupa in Yangon. It is the holiest place of the Buddhist people and land mark of the country and then over 2000-years old Sule pagoda and enjoy photographing for a panoramic view of city. Proceed to Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument ~ have a memorable scene of colonial building , then go to National Museum-05 story building which displays all about Myanmar, mainly the Lion Throne of the last king of Myanmar, who exiled to India in 1886.enjoy lunch at Restaurant. After lunch we go for shopping to Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market where you can find Myanmar famous gems and jewellary sales centers, Myanmar traditional products such as antiques, wood and jade carvings, cotton and silk fabrics, lacquerware, paintings, silverware, tapestries, slippers, Longyis, souvenir and so on. Afternoon, we proceed to the biggest Chaukhtetgyi reclining Buddha statue-72 meters long huge colossal image then transfer back to hotel .After relax in the hotel transfer to Yangon International airport for Departure .
