Details Itinerary

Day 1 : Yangon Arrival

Arrive at Yangon International Airport, pick up by our company representative. After check in hotel go for sightseeing to the downtown area then, we visit over 2000-years old Sule pagoda and enjoy photographing for a panoramic view of city. Proceed to Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument ~ have a memorable scene of colonial building ,enjoy lunch at Local Restaurant. After lunch, visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market for shopping and then we proceed to the biggest Chaukhtetgyi reclining Buddha statue-72 meters long huge colossal image.In the evening we go to the Kandawgyi Lake for photo taking and then sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, over 2500-years-old gigantic golden stupa in Yangon. It is the holiest place of the Buddhist people and land mark of the country then transfer back to hotel. ( Overnight hotel in Yangon. )

Day 2 : Bagan Sightseeing

Morning transfer to airport. Fly to Bagan. Arrive Nyaung Oo and sightseeing . Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda,Proto type of later Myanmar stupa, Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi Temple with fine muralpainting of Jataka scenes and Htilominlo Temple, well-known for its plaster carvings.Afternoon sightseeing – Ananda Temple, famous for its unique architecture,Dhamayangyi Temple, Bagan's most massive temple with the finest brick work,Archaeological Museum, Manuha Temple, Nanpaya, visit Lacquerware Industry and sunset at Bupaya Pagoda, a Pyu style pagoda on the bank of Majestic Ayeyarwaddy river. Day 3 : Bagan Full day Sightseeing

Highlight for today: Lawkhananda Pagoda – look over Ayeyarwaddy river from BuPaya-pagoda with bulbous dome resembling the ‘ Bu’ or gourd; Dhama Yazaka Zedi– located in Pwasaw village & built in 1196 AD; Nagayon pagoda – a very elegant form with a standing stucco image of Buddha under the hood of a hugenaga ( serpent ); Kyansit-tha Umin- where you can see murals painting from the13th century; Ananda Okkyaung-a brick monastery with 18th century mural paintings; Nathlaung Kyaung – the only remaining Hindu temple in Bagan; Thanday Kyar – Buddha Image built with solid sand stones in 13th century; Sulamani Temple – a red brick temple features delicate masonry work; Lawka Teikpan pagoda– quick small in size is of considerable importance owing to fine frescoes and ink inscriptions dated 12 century; Htilominlo Temple – known for its elaborate plaster moldings dated 1211 AD; Nan Paya – ne of the two sand stone temples in Bagan. Day 4 : Mt. Popa – Salay

After breakfast, visit Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano and 60-km south-east of Bagan and 1500-meters high. Well known as the oasis of the central Myanmardry zone and with a shrine dedicated to animist spirits known as “Nats”. Forthe energetic, time to climb 777 steps to a shrine at the top of the volcanicplug accompanied by a crowd of monkeys. This effort will be rewarded many times by the extraordinary panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Popa National Park with dense sandal wood forest and rare species of birds and butterflies,Local market are worth to see. Continue drive to Salay once a religious centerlocated about fifteen miles (20 kilometres) south of Bagan on the bank of the Ayeyarwaddy river.Visit one of the oldest monasteries famous for its finest wood carvings, a huge lacquered Buddha made of bamboo strips and some small temples with interesting mural paintings dating from Bagan area. Day 5 : Mandalay - Mingun

Morning after breakfast transfer to Airport for domestic flight to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay airport where your guide will meet and welcome you. After relaxation at hotel we go to Mingun , boat excursion (one hour each way) up the Ayeyarwaddy river to Mingun,boat trip is a very pleasant way to see the life a long the river. Tour highlights include: the world’s largest intact bronze bell, 3.7 meters high and weighting 90 tons – the largest uncracked ringing bell in the world. Also visit the huge but unfinished Mingun paya (built with the intention of being the world’s biggest pagoda) and the beautiful Hsinbyume paya, Settawya Pagoda, Myatheindan Pagoda with seven concentric terraces at the base. Then return to Mandalay. After lunch, sightseeing Mandalay to visit Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung ( Golden Palace Monastery), a superb example of a traditional wooden building, and Kuthodaw Pagoda (known as the world’s largest book), consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Day 6 : Mandalay – Monywa

In the morning after breakfast, a 3 hours’ drive to Monywa by car. On the way, visit Mohnyin Than Buddhay Pagoda which is said to accommodate 582,357 small Buddha images; Bodi Tahtaung Pagoda and the 90meter long, reclining Buddha Image and the highest standing Buddha image (129meter) in the world. Arrive Monywa and check in at the hotel. After lunch, visit Kyaukka lacquer ware village and Shwe Guni Pagoda.  ( Overnight hotel in Monywa. )

Day 7 : Monywa – Mt Po Win –Sagaing - Mandalay

 In the morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. Leave for Mt Po Win, peaceful and interesting place which is situated on the western bank of the Chindwin River. Then,drive to Sagaing Hills over Ava Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River.Sagaing, once an ancient capital, lies 21 km south west of Mandalay, besides the Ayeyarwaddy River. Sagaing Hills are dotted with pagodas and there are over500 monasteries and meditation centers, a retreat for 6000 monks and nuns.Visit Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, U Min Thonese Pagoda.On the way back to Mandalay enjoy the beautiful sunset at 1.2 km-long U Bein Wooden Bridge built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the royal capital. Day 8 : Amurapura – Innwa ( Ava ) -Yangon

Breakfast at hotel. Today we visit an ancient of Amurapura, visit Mahagandaryone Monastery a famous Buddhist monastery where more than a thousand monks live and study Buddhist literature, Mahamuni Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha himself, Tapestry works, Wood carving & bronze castling workshops, Marble carving workshop and silk weaving home cottage. After lunch,proceed sightseeing to the former royal capital of Inwa (Ava), reached by a short boat trip. Visits by horse-drawn carriage include Nanmyint Watch Tower, the remains of a palace building nicknamed "leaning tower of Ava", Mahaaungmye Bonzan Monastery (built of bricks and stucco) and Bargayar Monastery, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts. After lunch transfer to the airport for return Yangon. Arrive at Yangon Airport, pick up by our company representative then transfer to your hotel . ( Overnight hotel in Yangon. )
