Details Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Mandalay

Arrive at Mandalay airport 11.30AM. Airport to city down town 50Km, driving time one hour. Arrive to Mandalay down town at the Hotel- 1PM.As soon as check in Hotel, have a lunch. Afternoon time Mandalay to Mingun by boat, go and back (2hour-boat-driving time) Mingun region located about 11KMup river from Mandalay on the western banks of Ayeyarwaddy River. There is well known 90 ton weight Mingun Bell, the largest ringing bell in the world and The largest unfinished Pahtodawgyi Pagoda (Amarapura dynasty-18century) founded by the King Bow Daw Paya. Settawya paya (buddha foot print) and Hsinbyune Pagoda. Later backto the mandalay city top of the Mandalay Hill sun set before sun set base of the Hill Kuthodaw pagoda (the biggest book), Inside the temple 729 marble s salad each temple,donated by king min done. Day 2 : Amurapura – Sagaing – Inwa (Ava)

After breakfast, transfer to Amurapura for sightseeing. Visit Mahagandayon Monastery, a famous Buddhist monastery where more than a thousand monks live and study Buddhist literature. Then,drive to Sagaing Hills over Ava Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Sagaing, once an ancient capital, lies 1 km south west of Mandalay, besides the Ayeyarwaddy River. Sagaing Hills are dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries and meditation centers, a retreat for 6000 monks and nuns. Visit Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, U Min Thonese Pagoda. And then drive back to Mandalay. On the way back to Mandalay enjoy the beautiful sunset at 1.2 km-long U Bein Wooden Bridge built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the royal capital.then transfer to hotel. Day 3 : Mandalay – Bagan ( By Boat )

After early morning breakfast, transfer to Jetty around 6 0' clock in the morning.Upon arrival at Bagan in the evening, transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Bagan.

Day 4 : Bagan full day sightseeing

In the morning after breakfast we start visit with Shwezigone Pagoda- built in 1087 by King Anawratha who is the founder of the first Myanmar Empire.Nat ( Sprits ) images can be found within its precincts. Then observe the most venerated Ananda temple, built in 1090. It is the masterpiece of the early style temple architecture of Bagan error. Next must stop see is 66 meters high Thatbyitnnyu temple built in the middle of the 12th century as the highest pagoda on Bagan Plain. Then study 12th century mural painting inside the Gubyaukgyi temple, built in 1113 by princess Rajakumar. After that, visit a local family workshop to watch about the production process of lacquer ware, one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Evening highlights are Manuhar pagoda – built by king Manuhar, probably to portray his life as a POW ( Prisoner Of War ); unfinished Dhamagyi temple – Bagan’s most massive temple built in 1167 AD. Finally, breathtaking sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda – most popular sunset-viewing spots in Bagan. .( Overnight hotel in Bagan. )

Day 5 : Bagan – Mt Popa – Naung Shwe

After breakfast, visit Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano and 60-km south-east of Bagan and 1500-meters high. Well known as the oasis of the central Myanmar dry zone and with a shrine dedicated to animist spirits known as “Nats”. For the energetic, time to climb 777 steps to a shrine at the top of the volcanic plug accompanied by a crowd of monkeys. This effort will be rewarded many times by the extraordinary panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Popa National Park with dense sandal wood forest and rare species of birds and butterflies, Local market are worth to see after that transfer to airport for fly to Heho .Arrival Heho where you guide will meet at the airport and then transfer to Naung Shwe . ( Overnight hotel in Naung Shwe . )

Day 6 : Inle Lake sightseeing

In the morning after breakfast at hotel. After breakfast go to Nyaung Shwe Jett sightseeing by private boat. Sightseeing includes; a chance to see the leg-rowing fishermen. Continue to see the floating gardens, built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Explore in and around the lake by small boat. Learn the life of fishermen, and floating gardens on which fruits, flowers, and vegetables are grown. Visit Nampan market or Ywama floating market or another one (depend on five days’ movement) to watch the colorful minorities of Shan State. Phaungdawoo Pagoda is right in the center of the lake and famous for it’s five shapeless Buddha Images heavily gilded with gold. Then continue to floating village to learn the daily life of Intha people. Visit Silversmith, hand loom weaving in Einpawkone village, and boat making. Ngahpechaung Monastery is one of the famous for its’ well trained jumping cats. ( Overnight in Naung Shwe. )

Day 7 :  Indein sightseeing - Fly back to Yangon

Today we return to Yangon but before we return to Yangon after breakfast, we visit In Dein Village in the south of the lake by private boat.In the afternoon transfer to Heho airport then fly back to Yangon. Upon arrival at Yangon your guide will meet and welcome you. then transfer to hotel . ( Overnight in Yangon. )

Day 8 : Yangon sightseeing & Departure

In the morning after breakfast , go for sightseeing to the downtown area , we visit over 2000-years old Sule pagoda and enjoy photographing for a panoramic view of city. Proceed to Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument ~ have a memorable scene of colonial building ,enjoy lunch at Restaurant. After lunch, visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market for shopping and then we proceed to the biggest Chaukhtetgyi reclining Buddha statue-72 meters long huge colossal image.Kandawgyi Lake for photo taking at Shwedagon Pagoda, over 2500-years-old gigantic golden stupa in Yangon. It is the holiest place of the Buddhist people and land mark of the country then transfer Yangon International airport .
